This vintage clarinet was made in the early 1950's. Selmer Balanced Tone clarinets are considered to be one of the "ultimate Jazz horns," and the sound quality is a bit different from its contemporaries, but its mellowness is great for swing ballads. Recently overhauled with new synthetic pads and corks.
